🍝 Scouts & Homeschool Pasta Lab

Hands-On Garganelli & Cavatelli Workshop • Katy, TX

Bring your troop or homeschool pod to our licensed kitchen and turn flour, eggs, and creativity into an unforgettable culinary lesson. In this two-hour lab, students learn the science, math, and art behind fresh pasta while rolling garganelli and cutting cavatelli completely from scratch.

What They’ll Do

  • Mix & Knead Dough – measure Caputo 00 and semolina, crack farm-fresh eggs (or we use water), and watch gluten develop.

  • Shape Two Pastas – roll ridged garganelli with a peg board, then crank out cavatelli on the hand-crank machine.

  • Taste & Learn – cook, sauce, and taste their creations while watching pasta history and Italian culture on the TV
